“We moved to Cleveland the winter I turned nine.”
What do you remember about that first winter in Cleveland?
Private until you share it.

Your name goes on the cover as you answer.
The next question grows out of your last answer.
You read the whole book and mark changes before it is printed.
Written, typeset, printed, and bound.
We write it as a story, not a transcript, and keep the way you say things.
“My mother had to shut the oven door to bake it, and that was the coldest hour of the whole week.”
It was the only hour all week that the oven door was closed, and my mother spent it on me.

“I had braced for the suffering. It never came.”

Room for more of your life: a longer interview and a fuller book.
The family edition, made to be passed down.
Near the end, you speak a letter to the people you choose. It is printed in your book with a small code. Scan it, and they hear you say it. Every chapter can carry one too.

One number you call from your own phone. Whenever something comes back to you, at 2 a.m. or three days later, you call, talk, and hang up. We add it to the right chapter.

Not at all. You never face a blank page. We ask one question at a time, you answer in your own words, and we do the writing.
No. You talk. Each question is read aloud and you answer out loud, on a computer, tablet, or phone. There is nothing to install, and your place is saved when you stop. If talking is hard for you, you can type instead.
No. Every edition comes with two clip-on microphones. Clip one on and talk from a comfortable chair: every word is picked up clearly, no leaning into a laptop. Two in the box, so one charges while the other is worn. They plug into most computers, tablets and phones. Shipped free, usually within a few days. You can start before they arrive.
That is the point, and you check. You read every chapter and mark anything that does not sound right. We revise it before it is printed.
Only you, and you do. The family never sees your manuscript. Nothing is shared or published unless you choose, and the finished book belongs to you.
No. No two interviews are the same. Our AI interviewer listens to each answer and asks the next question from it: a name you mention, a place, a year. While you talk, we also look up the towns and years you name, so your book carries the world you grew up in.
Your words lead; AI writes. Our AI interviewer asks the questions, and our AI writes each chapter from what you told us, in your own phrases. It does not make up facts. You read the whole book before it is printed.
It depends on how much of your life you want in it. The Keepsake holds 10 to 12 chapters, The Life 18 to 22, and The Heirloom 25 to 30. You choose when you begin.
About 7 to 10 hours of your time for The Keepsake, about 12 to 17 hours for The Life. Over a few weeks, in conversations of 45 minutes to an hour, whenever it suits you. Talking is the quickest way. Stop any time and come back when another memory surfaces.
Your book taking shape. You answer a few questions about you, then you choose an edition and pay. You still try it first: a full refund within 30 days if you haven’t started, or within 7 days of your first conversation (14 days after purchase at the earliest).
Yes. When you choose your edition, you can pay in full or in three payments, two weeks apart, with no interest and no fee.
Try it first, and you’re covered. Before you start: ask any time within 30 days of buying it, and we refund you in full.
After your first conversation with Anna: if it isn’t for you, tell us within 7 days and we refund you in full, no questions asked. Either way, you have at least 14 days from the day you bought it.
After that, there are no cash refunds, but you are never stuck. If you run out of time or energy, you can finish early and we write a shorter book from everything you have told us so far. Or you can pause, and your story waits for you. Nothing is lost.
Once you approve your final proof and your book goes to print, it can’t be refunded, unless it is faulty or arrives damaged.
Paying in three? We refund what you’ve paid and cancel the rest. Refunds go back to the card that paid.
Answer a few questions and choose your edition. Our AI interviewer asks the rest, we write the book, and you read it before it is printed and bound.
